NEW CLIENTS POLICY
New clients require to book directly with Bat Your Lash salon by contacting (03) 9521 5426 and not online. This is to ensure new clients are informed of our cancellation policy and procedure and terms and conditions.
Please ensure you arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment. Please ensure all traces of eye make-up is removed with an oil-free cleanser before you arrive for the application.
Please advise Bat Your Lash staff of any conditions that may require additional care to make your experience comfortable (pregnancy, injury, medications).
Please no caffeine before your appointment. Caffeine and stimulates (coffee + tea) will cause involuntary movements causing your eyes to be fidgety and becomes difficult to isolate and place lashes safely.
CANCELLATIONS / RESCHEDULING POLICY
We strive to accommodate our clients to the best of our ability. All of our appointment confirmations are sent via text message. Please honour your appointment, if you must cancel or reschedule please do so at least 24 hours before your appointment time to avoid a cancellation fee. A cancelled/rescheduled appointment within 24 hours notice will incur a cancellation fee (50% value of scheduled appointment). Missed appointments will incur the full service fee and appointments cancelled within two hours before appointment will incur the full service fee also. This is due to not being able to rebook another customer within such short notice. Thank you for your understanding.
Your appointment is your time, set aside specifically for you to relax and enjoy being pampered. So as not to inconvenience our mostly punctual clients or our lash technicians who have busy salon schedules, if you are late to your appointment, we will not run it late overtime into someone else’s appointed time. Arriving late means that your appointment will be cut short, and we may not have the time required to apply as many lashes as you would like. Our standard booking fees will still apply. To get the most out of your appointment and to make sure our technicians can make your lashes as lovely as possible, please arrive on time and with all eye make-up removed.
MOBILE PHONE POLICY
We kindly request mobile phones are switched to silent when you arrive to avoid any unnecessary interruptions during treatment. Please keep in mind our technicians require 100% focus to ensure quality of work. We hope you understand the art of eyelash extensions is precision work; working with fine lashes, glue and tweezers, interruptions can be hazardous.
We highly, highly recommend against bringing children to your appointment. The environment is serene and quiet and it is really not the ideal environment for small children at all. Additionally, as your eyes must remain closed for the duration of the treatment and your technician will be focusing on you – there will be no supervision for your children, which could be dangerous! Our insurance does not cover unattended children in the salon, and we would hate for anything to happen – like all salons, there are things like hot wax, chemicals, sharps and dyes that are not good for little people to get their hands on.
